Your license

Your download and use of Packett are licensed, not sold. Unless a custom license is presented in the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies. These terms supplement that agreement. If they conflict, the Apple agreement controls to the extent required by your App Store purchase.

What Packett does

Packett evaluates axis-aligned rectangular items and boxes using the dimensions and settings you provide. It recommends a box only when its packing engine finds a valid placement for all selected items under the supported geometric assumptions.

A “Fit couldn’t be confirmed” result is not proof that no arrangement exists. It means Packett did not find enough proof to recommend a box in that calculation. A displayed placement is a geometric plan, not a physical packing guarantee.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for entering accurate dimensions, choosing suitable clearance, and checking the physical box and contents before packing or shipping. Confirm that the final package meets the requirements of your seller, carrier, destination, and applicable law.

What Packett does not assess

Packett does not assess box strength, compression, weight distribution, gravity, support, fragility, cushioning, moisture, dangerous goods, carrier eligibility, shipping price, or whether a particular box is available for purchase. It is not a carrier or packaging-engineering service.

Your content and local data

You retain responsibility for the names, dimensions, and photos you add. Packett stores this content locally to provide the app’s functions. You must have the right to use any photo or information you add. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Availability and changes

We may improve or change Packett’s catalog, interface, algorithms, and supported platform versions through app updates. Updates may change a recommendation when the packing engine or source catalog is corrected or improved.

Warranty and liability

The warranties, remedies, and limits that apply to Packett are those in the applicable App Store license and mandatory law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded in your country or region.
